Model 92 DT12 Cable Tester Saves Hours of Time at
2007 Chicago Auto Show

for WGN-TV and Superstation WGN.
Drazin recently
used the Model 92 DT12s for the 2007 Chicago Auto Show
at McCormick Place. Using two interconnected units in a
Master-Slave mode (hooked up “in moments”), Drazin's
team was able to thoroughly test thousands of feet of
DT12 hung in the convention center. Numerous problems
were found and quickly corrected –
long before the full broadcast crew arrived on site.

Cable Assembly Test Unit allows technical personnel to
quickly and accurately confirm DT12 performance. The
unit verifies that all signal paths are fully
functional, minimizing the chance of cable related
on-air or live event surprises. Key features include:
complete DT12 testing in less than six seconds;
end-to-end testing supported; channel or pin mode
testing. Includes external 120 Vac input/12 Vdc output
power supply.

broadcasting, theme park and theater installations,
corporate events, and industrial testing environments.
The Model 46 interfaces 2-wire full-duplex party-line
intercom circuits with 4-wire audio circuits associated
with matrix intercom systems. Multiple LED level meters
allow continuous monitoring of the input and output
signals. And the sound quality is pro audio all the way.
All this in one standard rack space. Requires 100-240
volts, 50/60 Hz for operation.
